I'm enjoying Jessica Biel lately. I mean she's beautiful, but she doesn't usually catch my eye very much, until the other day when she wore her hair in that cool amped up ponytail for the ESPY Awards in LA - but then I saw her nails for the Total Recall premiere I was impressed all over again.
Well I say 'saw her nails', I actually mean noticed them after half an hour of staring at that engagement ring.
They remind me of a different take on Chanel's Haute Couture 2012 nails: a sort of backwards reverse manicure (which I know is a strange double-negative but you'll see what I mean) with a creamy pink base, and on the tip, a rounded half circle (like the kind you usually paint at the base of the nail on a reverse manicure) of silver at the tip.
The tip is so perfect and shiny that I'm suspecting a nail wrap of some sort (Minx, probs) but it's easy to see where her inspiration came from...
Her shoes! Great coordination. We love this style - it's a sophisticated, refined take on nail art and it compliments her dress beautifully. Also, if possible, it makes her ring look even more sparkly.
