Every eye in the world is watching London right now: what an amazing few months we've had - first the Queen's Jubilee and now the 2012 Olympic Games - London hasn't been this cool since the swinging sixties.
Westfield is celebrating by holding a contest between their centres in East and West London, and they want you to battle it out and support your team. Are you Team East or Team West? All you have to do is visit the Westfield competition page and choose your side. The two teams will score points throughout the summer through tweets, instragram pics and content using the hashtag #iwasthere, and by taking part in games and challenges on their facebook and twitter pages. There are HUGE prizes up for grabs, including up to £25,000 in Visa prepaid cards to spend at Westfield. And 'regional glory', of course!
The problem is which side to pick. As Kiss and Makeup has no prior allegiance to either side of the city (we're South London girls) we can look at this objectively - so we decided that the best way to decide which area was better was based on what beauty offerings they have at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City!
For example, West has the Hershesons blow dry bar in the luxury hub The Village, no doubt where all those perfectly coiffed west London girls go to get that silky smooth Kate Middleton mane. Not convinced? Well then how about the OPI Colourcopia, a magical place where you can find OPI's entire (huge) range of nail polish - from celebrity collaborations to their sister line Nicole by OPI - as well as their skincare line Caviar of Switzerland and their tanning range LDN: Skins.
