Pink is Covergirls new covergirl!
I know we're not alone in thinking that the punky singer seems like a big departure from the girls that Covergirl usually pick for their campaigns - like Taylor Swift, Sofía Vergara, and Jessica Stam, but apparently that attitude is just what they like about her.
"Pink is a powerful and provocative role model who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are," said Esi Eggleston Bracey, Covergirl vice president and general manager. "We have admired Pink's art and her attitude for years. We love the energy and confidence that she radiates, and the fact that inside and out she's as cool as she looks. She's an awesome addition to our family."
The singer will appear in the beauty brand's fall print advertising campaign in November, with make up by the amazing Pat McGrath, which will challenge their customers habits and encourage them to explore 'beauty with an edge'.
Pink told journalists at a press conference that she's honoured to fill this new role. "Joining a group of women who have always inspired me - to laugh out loud, let my guard down or play around with my beauty look - is such an honor," she said.
