Ever since Jessie J burst into our conciousness grabbing her crotch and telling us she could 'do it like a dude', she's stuck with her street-fabulous image - zany catsuits and massive shoes - and her signature shiny black bob, false lashed dark eyes and popping lips. It was all very intense. But it looks like the singer's ready for a chance, because she appeared on the red carpet at the GQ awards last night looking completely different!
Jessie has said goodbye to her black fringed hair in favour of a reddish-brown shade, and has way toned down her makeup, sporting a bright orangey-red lipstick topped with a gloss, and very subtle eyes, lined with some individual false lashes on the outers corners.
We are loving her new understated style... but some of her fans clearly were alarmed by the change. The singer tweeted in response to her followers, "Its time to move on from the black bob people. Its ok.. Its gonna be ok lol. I had it for 5 years #itsjusthair #timeforachange".
There was still some of the old edgy Jessie in there though - she showed off nails painted in a nude and black geometric pattern created by Revlon's Jenny Longworth.
