NARS do nineties with their Spring 2013 collection
After fashion month back in September, it was obvious that the '90s would be back with a bang for this spring/summer in all its forms, from grungy hair (like we saw backstage at Giles) to vibrant pop colours (like we saw at House of Holland).
Surely enough NARS have launched a collection for spring 2013 full of the kind of vivid colour we associate with the decade and underlined with a totally nineties campaign featuring model Stella Tennant.
Even though some of the bright hues in this collection can look a bit alarming, they all work really well together in the image of Stella from the campaign (above): great example that you can wear almost everything if you do it right.
Stand out products from the collection? Definitely Mad Mad World, the cyan and parakeet green Duo Eyeshadow (NARS recommend you wear each bold shade solo, or use one as a base and the other as a liner), Disco Inferno an iridescent silver green nail polish, and Corcovado, a gold Soft Touch Shadow Pencil named after the mountain in central Rio de Janeiro.
You can get the whole collection right now at narscosmetics.co.uk - look out for our swatches coming soon. In the meantime, check out the behind the scenes video from the campaign shoot below!
