Announcement: big hair is officially back.
Yesterday Marc Jacobs sent his models down the catwalk at his Marc by Marc Jacobs show with what can only be described as a mane of frothy curls - big, sexy 70's style hair that was making all the statement in the look.
How was this created? With a lot of work and time it seems - hair was separated into what looks like a million pieces and tonged into coils, which were then pinned up to cool (very important when it comes to making curls last) and then brushed out.
The front section was rolled up on some models (like above) which gave it a 40s style twist, especially with that red lip, and on other swept to the side to create a sort of fringe.
