OPI reveal Bond Girls collection
Exciting news to liven up a dull Thursday morning - OPI, who almost rival MAC with speed and regularity of their collections - are following up the success of their (seriously amazing) Skyfall collection with another James Bond one, Bond Girls!
Bond Girls by OPI is a collection of their new-ish Liquid Sand matte glitter varnishes, which you know I wasn't that keen on until I tried What Wizardry Is This? from the Oz The Great and Powerful collection - I think it works best in dark colours.
This collection features six shades named after some of the most iconic women of Bond: Solitaire, a sparkling white; Pussy Galore, a shimmery light pink; Tiffany Case, a light blue; Vesper, a deep purple; Honey Ryder, a shimmery honey gold, and Jinx, a sparkly coral.
"Following the success of the holiday promotion with the latest James Bond film, Skyfall, it's been a thrill to create colours for the women who've captured Bond's attention over the last five decades," said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder & Artistic Director.
I hear they might be out in May, but we'll let you know when we have more info! What do you think of them? I'm not so sure I would have matched the Bond Girls to these colours personally. I would definitely have made Vesper's a dark green and Jinx a blackish purple if it were up to me. Again, if anyone wants to fund my nail polish line I'm accepting sponsors.
