Hooray! A new MAC Limited Edition collection has hit our shores. It's easy to be tempted by MAC's limited collections - colours with inventively themed names, rarity value, and the exciting new product formats. Best of all, I like the collections that have their own distinctive packaging - from 2007's pearly-white Moonbathe to last year's bright electro orange Neo-Sci-Fi.
Style Warrior combines all these things and more - the packaging is a bronze gold colour with leopard and zebra print accents overlaid with tribal pattern designs. It's a summery, bold look with a hint of 70s disco glamour, guaranteed to brighten up your makeup bag.

Givenchy are at it again, providing us with a to die for collection that encapsulates next seasons beauty trends. This year we have soft and tender pinks, accents of pale blue and a mixture of corals for a feminine woman who's passionate and mysterious- celebrating the era of the woman as a muse. It will be available mid-August from the usual outlets.

Desert Island chic may not be available au naturel in the depths of London town but sun-streaked locks and barely there make up is still a reality. Taking some style tips from popular TV show LOST, we see tousled waves, luscious lips and an amazing golden glow. To be fair I suspect that the LOST crew are not creating their pouts a'la sea but instead achieve that flawless beachy look with the help of a dedicated make up team. We're huge fans of MAC here at Kiss and Makeup, but when the new collections come out we don't always have the cash to buy everything we'd like. Sadly the collections are so popular they sell out pretty soon, and then we're left scouring eBay in a vain hope to get the Fafi palette we so desired.
When visiting retail outlet Bicester Village last week I stumbled upon a shop called the Cosmetic Company Store. As well as massive discounts on top end beauty brands (Origins/Estee Lauder/Aramis) they also had a beauty section which included a variety of MAC makeup palettes, from last years hot collections!

Urban Decay have done it again- released a quirky product that's aimed for cult status. What they've come up this time is a cross between stripper pens and a pheromone sorbet. In a fabulous reverse of sexism you can choose from eight lip glosses which all feature buff boys in various states of undress. Simply turn the gloss and the image reveals even more of their pumped torsos, allowing you a little ogle whilst you gloss up.

I'm a big fan of Benefit's Get Even powder as I find it's the perfect foundation fixer upper, as it gives your face such a lovely even texture. Well in typical Benefit fashion it looks like they're trying to raise the stakes with the launch of Hello Flawless! a powder with SPF15, that looks verrrry similar and promises equal face coverage. You can use it with a sponge or brush varying on how heavy you want it. It should be available around April in the USA and I can't wait!
