Our American friends have been banging on about luxe nail brand, Nail Couture LA since time began (or so it seems). Problem was, unless we took an impromptu trip half way across the world, we could only lust at their obsession from afar. Well, not any more.
As of next month, NCLA will be crossing the pond and setting up shop in Harvey Nics with an 18-strong collection of its kitschly-named polishes. Not only are these little bottles packed with metallic and bright shades, they're also hard-wearing and totally free of nasty stuff. Surely every one is a contender for Nails of the Week.
Annoyingly there's no word on NCLA's amazing nail wraps, but we're hoping they'll be heading to our shores soon too.
Check out NCLA here.

Yesterday, we shared our three favourite vampy lipsticks. Then TOWIE's Lydia hit a Halloween party with black lips and we were smitten.
Maybe not a look for everyday but definitely one for this weekend.

Forget going grey or dip-bleaching, this season's hottest hair has a rose-inspired hue just like Fearne's.
According to top celeb hairdressers, Brooks & Brooks, rose blondes, rosewood brunettes, rose coppers and rose red tones are set to dominate this winter.
At the hairdressers, ask for an all-over soft rose shade - or panels of colour rather than highlights - to keep the look soft and romantic.
How cool are these new Models OWN Beetlejuice nail polishes?
Launching on Tuesday, they come in six multi-changing shades (like a beetle back) including Purple Blue, Pinky Brown, Emerald Black and Golden Green Beetle Juice.
We'll take the full set...

This week's nails are Halloween-inspired.
We love the bright, pumpkin orange of Bourjois' So Laque Ultra Shine in Orange Creation. They also do a rich black in the same range. It covers in one coat and is so bright, it's almost fluoro...
We tried countless orange polishes, but Bourjois' was by-far the best.
Halloween = nailed.

Whether or not you need an eye cream has always been a rather contentious issue, but as I've noticed more lines appear in this area, I'm falling into the 'use an eye cream camp'. I'm loving the bareMinerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream at the moment- it's a small pot, but due to the thickness of the cream, the 15ml goes a REALLY long way.
It feel really nice to apply, a rich thick cream that dissolves quickly into the skin and leaves it feeling instantly plumper. Free from parabens and artificial oils (like all the range) you're aware that you can't be harming your skin, and it's suitable for both day and night wear.

We get to try a lot of lovely products here at Kiss and Makeup, and Alicia Thakrar from Urban Retreat, Harrods shares our passion for beauty. She decides just what products get stocked on the shelves at Harrods Urban Retreat, and that means she gets to try a LOT of products. She shares with us her favourite beauty products, and we should all sit up and take note!
Fave cleanser: Estelle & Thild's Rose Otto Gel Cleanser- It smells divine and leaves my skin feeling super clean yet wonderfully hydrated, which is rare for gel cleansers, believe me I have tried most of them!
Fave Face moisturiser:Antonia Burrells Creme Supreme, it was actually an article in the Daily Mail that brought this 'fairy godmother' of moisturisers to my dressing table. It has a really luxurious texture and treats everything from my oily t-zone to dry cheeks and occasional breakouts.
Fave body moisturiser: Sisley's Comfort Extreme is by far the best- it has a balmy consistency that is easily absorbed and leaves my skin with a beautifully glossy sheen. It is incredibly hydrating and provides long-lasting nourishment to even the driest of areas.
Fave foundation:Laura Mercier's Mineral Powder SPF15 is a product I love for ease of application, it takes 30 seconds to buff on with Laura's Blending Brush and lasts all day. The powder can look a bit ashy to begin with as it takes about 15mins to warm up to my skin but leaves me with a consistently flawless and dewy complexion. (it's mineral properties ease the guilt of sleeping in my make-up too)
