The foundation is contained within a glass bottle, with no separate applicator or pump so you need to be careful when using it, as I've had one or two messy spills. It's a really fine liquid, which easily sinks into the skin and is non comedogenic for those who worry about breakouts.
The coverage provided is extremely luminous, and you'd definitely need powder to mattify the T-Zones area. I'm a big fan of the dewy look, but there's dewy and then there's sun-reflecting-off-forehead and sending signal to space dewy. They have a wide range of colour options, and its really easy to blend, sinking nicely into the skin.

The Oral B Triumph 5000 is an electric toothbrush with a difference, as it contains a SmartGuide to encourage you to brush for longer, You charge up your brush, choose your favourite settings (Clean/Polish etc) and the brush wirelessly syncs with the SmartGuide, giving you a time goal to brush to. If you meet this goal you'll receive a digital smiley face, which should give you a warm inner glow as well as pearly gnashers.
But how well would this work in reality, and do we need gimmicks like this with our brushes?

As a bit of a bath nut, I've tried more than my fair share of bathing products. Bubbles are great for the end of a stressful day when you just want to chill. Salts are the best for healing damaged or sore skin. But oils are another category entirely, and need to be great quality unless you want to end up with grubby tide-marks and greasy skin.
Bamfords bath oil is certainly one of the better ones I've tried, and I'd recommend it as a pleasant tonic particularly at this time of year. The eucalyptus works wonders on tight chests and stuffy noses, so is ideal for a dip when you're feeling under the weather and are suffering with a head cold or 'flu. Really refreshing to the senses, it's comforting and gentle on the skin, too. This is one I'll be using sparingly, and keeping in reserve for next time I go down with a snifle.

We live in a seriously stressful world. If we're not frustrated by traffic, we're angered by rain, or find the variety of emails we get perplexing and disturbing. There's never enough to me to just sit back and take a deep breath, but Origins have a product that allow you some temporary relief from everyday pressures. It's called peace of Mind and is packaged in a small innocuous looking bottle, with a light mint coloured tinge to it.
The idea is that you dab a two small applications of the light cream behind pressure points such as the earlobe and temples at moments of extreme stress, and it will help calm you down. I was pretty dubious about this, and then I tried it...

It's time to do something about that party season weight gain that still lingers from a summer full of Mojito's and over indulgence on BBQ food. With Christmas around the corner, now is not the best time to diet, but once that day has passed it should be all steam ahead to fit into that New Year outfit.
Nosh Detox stands for 'Natural, Organic,Safe and Healthy' and offers a diet delivery system that caters to a wide range of people, from vegetarians, to serial detoxers. You can opt from seven day juice fasts to handmade nutritionally balanced meals. I decided to try the ABC Programme - Alkalise, Balance & Cleanse, for 6 days. This involved daily deliveries of food, and a stringent list of pills to swallow and supplements to take. The first three days you're only allowed liquid food till 4pm, and the following days you eat raw food till 4pm.

I have to admit that pre-trial I was slightly biased against this product. The word mineral is bandied around with so little knowledge nowadays, that when a budget brand produces a version I almost immediately assume the product won't conform to 'real mineral makeup standards', which is true in this case. It merely contains the minerals elements that have previously existed in these products, with all the chemical preservatives you don't get in the likes of Lily Lolo or Bare Escentuals. That aside, the foundation provides a nice even coverage.
The bottle holds 30ml of product, which is dispensed via a handy pump mechanism, making sure the liquid foundation stays free from germs. It releases a small amount at a time, so you never have to worry about having excess product, and it has a really fine and light consistency.

Thanks to its helta-skelta packaging (an effect actually created by the three major components in this anti-ageing moisturiser) and its promises of wrinkle-defying moisture and tint, Olay's Definity colour enhancer was a product I was raring to try. I'm a sucker for a fun-looking product, and the swirly bottle looked rather inviting on my makeup shelf.
Did the results do its appearance justice though? Read on over the jump for my verdict.
